Material Systems for Wearable Interaction
Design and prototyping of material-driven systems for wearable applications, investigating responsiveness, form, and integration with the body.
Catalina Muñoz-Arias is a Colombian materials and product designer focused on performance, sports, and material-driven innovation. With an MFA in Design, her work explores how bio-based and sustainable materials can enhance durability, comfort, and human experience in active and performance-driven contexts.
Drawing from her background as a competitive swimmer and endurance athlete, she brings an embodied understanding of movement and performance to her design approach—translating material research into real-world product applications.
